To participate in this Prize, applicants must meet all the following criteria. An applicant must be a/an:

• Female professionals working in applied science
• Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Viet Nam.
• Holder of a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree. Applicants who are candidates for or pursuing a PhD or doctoral degree are not eligible. 
• To qualify for the Mid-career Scientist category, the applicant must be 45 or younger at the close of the application period. 
• To qualify for the Senior Scientist category, the applicant must be 46 or older at the close of the application period. 
• Academician/researcher/innovator/technologist/expert/practitioner working on topics related to the “Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Smart Water Management theme.
