This year\u2019s Prize is also held in partnership with Google. The Prize continues its commitment to strengthening science and technology capacity and promoting gender equality in the ASEAN region through the annual UL Research Institutes-ASEAN-U.S. Science Prize for Women.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 2025 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Science Prize<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will celebrate outstanding achievements of ASEAN-national, mid-career, and senior female scientists, recognizing their contributions to academic excellence, professional innovation, and societal impact.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 2025 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Science Prize<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> highlights the transformative work of female scientists who use their expertise to address real-world challenges sustainably, serving as role models for women pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This year\u2019s <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Science Prize<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> focuses on the theme \u201cGenerative AI for Smart Water Management\u201d, emphasizing the role of artificial intelligence in revolutionizing water resource management, improving sustainability, and addressing critical water challenges across the ASEAN region.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Winners in both the Senior Scientist and Mid-career Scientist categories will receive a cash award of $12,500, while runner-up finalists in each category will be honored with $5,000 and an honorable mention.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Science Prize<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> celebrates the achievements of exceptional women in science and underscores the importance of fostering inclusive innovation to build a sustainable and resilient future for ASEAN.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Science Prize is a partnership between UL Research Institutes (hereinafter ULRI), UL Standards &amp; Engagement (hereinafter ULSE), the US-ASEAN Business Council (hereinafter USABC), Google and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (hereinafter ASEAN).
